Today, we're excited to share with you a delicious and unique charcuterie board recipe that features a special item - a butter candle! Ingredients

  • 500g butter
  • Fresh sage
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Black peppercorns
  • candle wick
  • Kuhne pickled onions
  • Fior di vita chilli cheese
  • FOS kalamata olives
  • Fior di vita farmhouse cheddar
  • Kuhne pickled gherkins
  • Fior di vita manouri cheese

Instructions

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium low heat.

Add rosemary, sage and black peppercorns and let them infuse for 5 mins, stirring occasionally.

Filter your melted butter with a sieve and set aside.

Use 2 aluminium cans, add your edible candle wick inside and pour half of the melted butter in each can.

Rest your candles in the fridge for at least 30 mins or until hard.

Add your butter candles at the centre of your charcuterie board and let your guests eat the melting butter with some bread!
