Ingredients

  • 1 rabbit cut into portions
  • a little flour
  • olive oil
  • 4 slices chopped back bacon
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 sprins rosemary
  • 500ml white wine
  • 6tbps Kuhne wholegrain mustard
  • 200ml Cucina d'Oro cooking sauce

Instructions

Dust the rabbit with flour and fry in olive oil with sliced back bacon and chopped onion.

When golden, add the bay leaves, rosemary and white wine

Cover and let simmer until the rabbit is tender (1 hour)

Remove rabbit pieces to an oven proof dish.

Add wholegrain mustard to the pan juices and add cooking sauce

Stir well

Pour over the rabbit and roast in a very hot oven for 5 minutes
