Incredibly simple to make. These cheeses in filo glazed with honey are always a crowd pleaser.

Ġbejna or Feta in Filo with Honey

Ingredients

  • Ġbejniet half dry / feta cheese (1cm thick)
  • Black pepper
  • 12 sheets filo
  • Honey
  • Rocket leaves

Instructions

Rinse cheeses and pat them dry

Lay each sheet of filo down flat, brush lightly with oil and fold in half lengthways

Brush lightly with oil again

Place the cheese on the short end and fold in the edges and roll up to make neat parcels.

Brush again lightly with oil

Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until golden

Once out of the oven, spread them with the honey.

Notes

For this recipe we used Fior Di Vita Greek Manour, Greek Feta, and Greek Goat Cheese
