Ingredients

  • 400g
  • 2 onions
  • 400g minced beef
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1tsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp curry
  • 2 tbsp worchestershire sauce
  • 40g tomato paste
  • 300g tomato pulp
  • 150ml red wine

Instructions

Fry onion in olive oil until golden

Add minced beef an cook for a few minutes

Add oregano, basil, curry and mix well

Add worchestershire sauce, tomato paste and tomato pulp. Mix well

Add red wine and 1 beef stock cube or granules. Mix well

Add basil

Cover and simmer for 45 minutes

Add beef mixture to 400g of cooked pasta. Mix well.

Mix in beaten eggs and grated cheese

Line a pie dish with pastry and fill it with the pasta mixture

Cover the top with another layer of pastry and brush with egg wash

Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top

Prick top layer of pastry with fork to let steam escape

Bake for 50 minutes at 190°C
